Retro Oakleys

So I am seriously dying over the Oakley Frogskins Collectors Edition sunglasses.  Especially the matte black with the Fire Iridium lenses.  Apparently they made only 3,000 pairs and are pretty much sold out everywhere.  I bought my Ray-ban Wayfarers when I was a junior in high school, and although I will always love this classic style, I'm kind of over them at the time being.

 
Also the polished black ruby iridium are pretty nice.  I love that the retro Oakley symbol is in red on the sides.

Office Space.

I have recently started an internship and am very interested in office-chic (who would've thought?)!

BOOM. Fall Fashion.

 am loving the trends I've been seeing in this years fall fashion.


1. THE TURTLENECK

Turtlenecks are always classic and commonly flattering on most body types.  However, don't start thinking that these dolls are boring... This season's turtlenecks are anything but.  They come cropped, with cutouts, and full of detail.

2. DEEP RED AND CAMEL

Hooray to all the blonde's (real or fake) out there, we finally have a color that flatters us.  Camel is universally complimentary on those of the blonde sort and deep red or "ox-blood" looks fabulous on those with dark hair and a fairer complexion.

3. TOUGH MINIS

If you have followed my blog for long, you probably have noticed my passion for leg-baring get-ups.  These numbers for fall are anything but sweet.  Most are pleated leather.

4. VELVET

I feel as if a large majority of my friends have a a strong opposition to velvet and velour... Why? I can't say but maybe once they see how big this trend is going to hit our country they'll sit back and slip on  little velvet dress.

5. WINTER CROP TOPS

Thank goodness my recent obsession will carry over into fall.  Pairing high-waisted bottoms with a crop top has been my go-to outfit for the past few months.  Fall crop tops here I come.

Last but not least.  I love how classic a cape can be.  I am also so excited to wrench this caplet back out of my closet!

More than a Feeling

So I'd say it's definitely time for an outfit post.  I've been so busy lately, I haven't had the time. 

My fellow intern Courtney actually just snapped these with her phone while we were on the job.  Another reason my life would be easier with an iPhone...
