A Year In Pictures and Posts

I hope you have an absolutely AMAZING new years, and thank you so much for following. I started this blog in January of 2010 and never believed I would have 17,743 pageviews since this past June. This marks my 100th post, and I can't wait to write the next hundred. It's amazing how much love and support I have received from friends and readers since going public with my blog. THE Perfect Dress.

I saw this dress a few months back while online browsing and cannot stop thinking about it.

Every aspect is completely perfect. It has a detachable skirt that can also be worn as a cape. Genius, non?

Maybe it has to do something with reading the old yellow bound Nancy Drew as a child (slash teen and adult), but I feel like she would have worn this dress.

Closing the Gap

Hello readers, I hope you had a wonderful Christmas filled with friends and family! 

I'm very excited to announce that I will be moving into my new home within the next month! Now it's on to paint swatches and bedding options. 

I know I have probably bored you all to tears talking about my precious headboard I'm having made.  However, once again I've changed my mind.  If you've been following for long, you probably remember that I wanted a wildly printed headboard (pictured here). 

Well, now I've decided I love the look of cream or white.  I've also considered wall-papering one wall of my room to achieve the looks below:

or even a white headboard with a pop of color on the wall behind it:
